The beauty of childhood is fleeting and the temptation to capture it is overwhelming. This workshop will focus on completing a portrait of a beloved child, grandchild or oneself at a very young age. Portraiture basics will be addressed in addition to the artistic nuances of capturing the essence of a specific youngster. Anatomy, proportion and character of form in relation to children will be studied. Students should bring reference material (photos and/or sketches) to work from. This course is open to all levels of experience.
