Working from nude models in variety of poses, we will explore the movement, proportions, structure and significant anatomical landmarks of the human figure as well as the concepts, materials and techniques involved in recording what is observed and learned. Three dimensional understandings of form and immediate and intuitive drawing methods will be emphasized. Instructor talks and demonstrations will be interspersed throughout the workshop. Open to all levels of experience.

 

About the Instructor

Arslan received his M.F.A. from Moscow Stroganov College of Art and Design. His works are in many public and private collections, and he has been honored to receive multiple awards, including the Alex J. Ettl Grant from the National Sculpture Society.
