Learning how to break down a portrait into manageable steps is essential to the success of a painting. During this 5-day pose artists will complete one portrait painted from life. We will break down the process of painting into 5 steps and work systematically on one step per day. Working this way brings clarity and confidence when working from life.
About the Instructor
Dominique Medici is a Figurative Artist specializing in Oil Painting. She studied in London and has exhibited internationally, including The Royal Society of Portrait Painters, Art in Action and Christie’s Young Artist Exhibition. Medici has received awards from The Portrait Society of America, Art Renewal Center, Oil Painters of America, and Catharine Lorillard Wolfe Art Club, among others. Medici has undertaken numerous portrait commissions and her work is displayed in many private collections throughout the US and Europe. Dominique has a passion for teaching and has taught extensively, both privately and publicly.
