Silya Kiese’s lively demonstrations and lectures on contemporary sculpture, live art, and installations have inspired many students. Ms. Kiese attended The Art Students League of New York and the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, where she received her M.F.A.

A distinguished lecturer in art, philosophy, and art history, Ms. Kiese has spoken at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, School of Visual Arts, the University of California, Los Angeles, Rutgers University, and the Silvermine Guild Art Center. She was a visiting artist and lecturer at Johann Wolfgang Goethe University, Seattle Pacific University, Evergreen State College, and University of California, Berkeley. Her life-size sculptures, light art, and installations are exhibited internationally.

Silya Kiese Monday, Wednesday Online 10:00-11:30 am $149 This newly offered LIVE and Interactive class will be conducted over Zoom, with one or two weekly 90-minute online meetings as specified above. Learn from demos, lectures, critiques, and discussions. Plus at-home assignments and the community of your fellow artists. All times Eastern. July registration is now CLOSED. Registration for August opens July 22.
