Emily Hubley

Emily Hubley has been making short animated films for over thirty years. Her hand-drawn films explore personal memory and the turbulence of emotional life. Her feature, The Toe Tactic, premiered theatrically at the Museum of Modern Art in New York City in 2009 and was released on DVD by Kino International. Ms. Hubley has made numerous music videos and contributed animation to documentary and narrative films including Blue Vinyl, Hedwig and the Angry Inch, Vessel and Danny Says.
