Amy Digi

Painting by Amy DiGi

Amy DiGi is a plein air painter whose studio is the great outdoors. Whether immersed in the Catskill landscape, surrounded by the grit of New York City, or bathed in the salt air of the sea, Ms. DiGi continually searches for closer connections to her surroundings through bold brushwork and nuanced color.

She earned her BFA from Pratt Institute and her MFA from Lehman College, with a semester at the University of Alaska in Fairbanks. Ms. DiGi studied with Joseph Peller and Mary Beth McKenzie at the Art Students League of New York. She is an Arts in Embassies artist and a United States Coast Guard artist. Her paintings exhibited both nationally and internationally and held in private collections across the United States.
