Please join NYC Parks Arts, Culture & Fun for an art workshop outdoors in the park. In partnership with The Art Students League of New York.

About this Event

Please join us for a watercolor landscape workshop in partnership with Seeds of the League. Join Artist Amy DiGi in the park to learn how to draw and paint using nature as our inspiration. She is teaching all levels from beginners to advanced. Come learn about light, color and design while making art en plein air (outside) while enjoying fresh air in the park.
For your comfort, bring a mat, blanket, or folding chair to sit on. Feel free to bring your own watercolors, paper, water, and brushes. Supplies will be provided as well.
All participants will be required to wear a face covering and maintain a distance of at least six feet while attending. In addition, please stay home if you’re sick and practice hand hygiene frequently.
Note that the class size is limited to 15 participants and will be on a first-come-first-serve basis on the day of the workshop. Families welcome.
Amy DiGi is a plein air artist working in both rural and city locations. She is a United States Coast Guard artist artist and an Arts in Embassy artist. She received her MFA from Lehman college and BFA from Pratt institute.
