This class is dedicated to giving its members the knowledge they want to reach their goals as artists. From drawing to painting, and old master techniques to contemporary concepts, anatomy, composition, color are explored through long figure poses, portraits, still life and landscape studies, done from observation and imagination. All levels are welcome. All materials are explored.
Sherry Camhy’s work has been exhibited in galleries and museums in the United States and abroad, and reviewed in ArtNews, TimeOut/NY, and International Artist magazines. She is the author of Art of the Pencil, the Material World column of Drawing magazine, and articles for Fine Art Connoisseiur. When not giving workshops at the Art Students League, the School of Visual Arts, and the Tisch School of the Arts at New York University, Ms. Camhy can be found in her studio in West Chelsea, New York.
