Deborah Winiarski

Class Description

In this mixed-media class, there are no fixed rules or “shoulds” in the creative process. As art-making is an individual and unique endeavor, the starting point for instruction will be each individual student’s visual preferences and materials. In one-on-one conversations, students will be guided toward making those clear choices that will gain focus and clarity of expression in their work. Materials, best practices, technical and archival issues relevant to created works will also be discussed. Class discussions and demonstrations will take place when appropriate.
