This comprehensive workshop explores the dynamic art of caricature, with carefully chosen examples that represent the best work of many great caricaturists. The history and relevance of caricature will be discussed and analyzed. A hands-on workshop using photographic references will allow students to develop their own ability to expressively render a facial likeness in an individual, highly personal way. The instructor will share some of his own work, and create caricatures along with the class.
