With watercolor, learn the fundamentals and hidden techniques of the masters as they apply to painting cloth on the figure. Develop the skills and sensibilities to relate woven goods with flesh in dramatic and subtle style. Learn a different rendering technique each day, and the compositional concepts to make it count. Clark’s fine art study with Edith Head brings lessons on the importance of fashion in modern art from Sargent to Warhol. Color and paint lessons as applied to linen, silk and satin.
