This workshop will begin with a large scale watercolor demonstration.  During the workshop students will explore the range of possibilities that watercolor offers for expressive, contemporary painting.  Students are encouraged to bring a reference, such as a photo or sketch, to help them begin their own paintings. This workshop is open to students of all levels, and each student will receive intensive individual instruction.

About the Instructor

Elizabeth Allison studied at the Art Students League of New York and at the University of Michigan, where she received a B.F.A. She is the recipient of three Elizabeth Greenshields Foundation Grants, a Nessa Cohen Grant, and a Raluca Popesco Memorial Grant. She is represented by Bertrand Delacroix Gallery.
