Add the magic of color to your artwork. A step-by-step approach, from start to finish based on old master and contemporary concepts. Discover new mediums. Gain fresh techniques in familiar ones. Explore the possibilities of traditional and water-soluble pastel, pan pastel, crayons, markers, acrylic or oil paint by experimenting with techniques like subtraction, glazing and mono prints.

About the Instructor

Sherry Camhy’s work has been exhibited in and is part of the permanent collections of numerous museums. She curated The Silverpoint Exhibition at The National Arts Club (2013), and published Art of the Pencil (1997) and Robert Beverly Hale Lectures (2016). Articles by and about her have appeared in many art publications. When she is not giving workshops at The Art Students League, the School of Visual Arts, NYU Tisch School of the Arts or abroad, she can be found working in her studio in West Chelsea, NY.
