With the reemergence of academic painting and drawing this workshop will go much further and push towards the Russian Realist approach. Using a direct and less linear approach, the truth behind the eyes and personality of the subject is explored and stressed. This workshop will encourage and enable students to dig deeper and bring more authentically realized perceptions to their subjects, gaining in their works more honesty while uncovering the subliminal truths beyond simply copying or academically competent works.
