Exhibition Outreach Program
The Art Students League of New York is committed to promoting the art of its students, members and instructors. In July 2006, the League initiated the Exhibition Outreach program, bringing the work of our emerging artists to exhibitions in various venues outside the League's own gallery, including Manhattan building lobbies, public spaces, corporate offices and small galleries in towns outside of the New York City area. Exhibition Outreach Latest News & Opportunities

Exhibition Outreach Program The Exhibition Outreach program had a successful first year, providing our students the opportunity to display their work in the bustling New York metropolitan area and allowing the public to see and appreciate the high level of work our students are creating.

The Art Students League of New York has arrangements with the following locations to show student and instructor work:

  • Tower 49 at 12 East 49th Street: main lobby, sky lobby; two exhibitions yearly; over 40 works exhibited at a time;
  • 680 Fifth Avenue: lobby offering space for paintings, and prints; four exhibitions per year; seven works exhibited at a time;
  • Grace Institute at 1233 Second Avenue: for over 100 years, Grace Institute has provided tuition-free practical job training in a supportive learning community for underserved New York area women. In the tradition of its founding family, Grace Institute is dedicated to the development of the personal and business skills necessary for self-sufficiency, employability and improved quality of life. In practicing their mission, they have dedicated a small gallery for artists to show work and allow their students to be exposed to artist and art. In a new program, Grace Institute and the Art Students League of New York are working together to allow artists a place to show and talk about their art to a new audience with seven six-week exhibitions a year.
  • Manhattan Borough Presidents Office: two shows per year in Manhattan municipal building.
  • Bronxville Library: space for solo and group shows in two gallery spaces.

The Art Students League of New York looks forward to expanding the Exhibition Outreach program over the next few years, increasing the opportunities to show our students' work in galleries, libraries, corporate offices and other venues.
