34th Street Partnership is partnering with the Art Students League of New York to offer fledgling artists the opportunity to interact with and learn from professionals in an informal setting. Urban Sketching Meetups meet at different locations throughout the District, and focus on various disciplines, such as still life, figure drawing, landscape, and architecture.
Meetups convene 6pm-7pm on the first Wednesday of each month from June to September. The sessions are led by artist Victor Honigsfeld, who specializes in urban plein air drawing and painting. This session will meetup at Greeley Square Park.
