Martha Bloom attended Green Mountain College, the Art Institute of Boston, Bob Blackburn Printmaking Workshop and the Art Students League of New York.

Ms. Bloomâs art combines various mediums, including photography and found objects. Her transcendent collages and assemblages capture a personal, distinctive style of spontaneity and enlightened perception.

Ms. Bloom also teaches children and adults at the National Academy School of Fine Arts, New York; Silvermine School of Art, Connecticut; and many outreach and museum programs. Her young students have exhibited at the Museum of American Folk Art, the Japan House Museum, Channel 13, UNICEF and the United Nations, to name a few.

Her work has been exhibited extensively and is represented in numerous private and public collections, including the Metropolitan Museum of Art, the National Academy, the McNay, Columbia and Delaware Museums and the Library of Congress.
